I’m Kim: a nutritionist, culinary nutrition lecturer, and functional wellness expert with a background in psychology. But more importantly, I’m someone who understands the reality of making health changes – because I’ve been there myself.

I spent much of the last 15 years working as a lecturer. That ‘experience’ came with its own challenges – chronic stress, weight gain, poor lifestyle choices, and, ultimately, burnout. So, trust me when I say, I know what it takes to make real, lasting change.

What is Functional Wellness? Functional wellness is a holistic approach to health that focuses on understanding the root causes of imbalance rather than just addressing symptoms. It integrates personalised nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and evidence-based strategies to support optimal well-being.

My Approach to Functional Wellness: I believe in a whole-person approach that considers the interconnectedness of diet, lifestyle, gut health, blood sugar balance, and mental well-being.
